Resident doctors suspend nationwide strike

The National Association of Resident Doctors has suspended its 10 day strike, and has been directed by the ministry of labour and employment to resume work on Friday.

The suspension was made known today by the minister of labour and employment, Chris Ngige through a text message signed by Onyebueze John, president of the National Association of Resident Doctors.

The President of National Association of Resident Doctors, Onyebueze John has however through a statement made it known that the union suspended the strike but will meet in two weeks to re-assess the situation at its Annual General Meeting in Abuja.
